JULIET
Launched in 1993, Juliet has covered many tens of thousands of ocean miles exploring the world. Over those 15 years, apart from modest wear and tear to the yacht, there have been major technological developments in superyacht systems. With many more years of cruising Juliet in mind, the owner felt it was timely to refit, and to upgrade and modernise systems at the same time.
The refit programme includes: complete external paintwork, replacement of the teak deck, salon windows, main switchboard, alarm system and main engine exhaust system; overhaul of the main engine, gearbox, system pumps and generators. Internally there will be some modifications to internal furniture and replacement of radar and navigation systems with a state of the art, integrated nav/radar/AIS.
The project is scheduled for completion in April 2009.
