We only use Alustar for hull construction: it is more expensive and technically more chall-enging to weld than alternatives used by much of the industry, but it offers great benefits of lightness and strength.

Every inch of the hull is primed and painted inside and out before fit-out; cable trays are aluminium or stainless, never galvanised; stainless pipes are coated inside and out with an abrasion resistant non-metallic coating. Nothing is left to chance.
